The health and safety of our patients, our staff and our Providers are of the utmost importance to us. With that goal at the forefront, we want you to know that Desert View Family Medicine has implemented these measures to maintain our patient's safety. When a patient calls in for an appointment because they are experiencing symptoms typically associated with the COVID19 virus, such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, we will obtain the information necessary for our Providers to triage the patient appropriately. Without testing capabilities, our Providers may perform a visit telephonically. This visit will be billed to your insurance and may require a copay. We are taking the temperature of all staff, Providers and patients who enter our building. This minor inconvenience will help ensure no one is exposed. If anyone has a fever greater than 100.4, they will be triaged by one of our Providers. Our facility is also cleaned after each patient following CDC recommendations. We want our patients to remain confident that we will continue to safely provide the same level of care for all of your needs in a safe environment.
